Your first class at BJJFC

You're welcome to test the waters with a free trial class. You’ll see why we’re the best.

You should arrive about 15 minutes early to fill out a waiver and change. Wear clothing you can move and sweat in – such as shorts and a tee shirt – or a Jiu-Jitsu uniform. You can rent one free of charge, or if you want to take the plunge, we sell uniforms already embroidered with the club logo for $180.

How Martial Arts classes work

Anyone of any age or fitness level can benefit from our classes.

The first half of our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai classes are a warm-up, designed to boost your cardio and your strength. The movements may feel a little weird at first, but they’re designed to help you move properly when sparring.

The second part of our martial arts classes consist of technical training, which prepares you for the third and final bit: sparring. First timers – don’t worry; we’ll take it easy on you. And note that in any Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sparring match, you can tap out at any time.
