The Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Fight Club is the first Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Club in Calgary, tracing its origins all the way back to 1994 in the form of basement training. From this humble beginning, we now have a 4000 square foot, fully equipped facility from which to train and over 200 registered members.

Our competitors compete in local, national, and international level jiu-jitsu and MMA competitions, including in Brazil. Various athletes in our club have national and international level titles. At the BJJ Fight Club, you will find that we offer the highest quality training to adults and kids alike in both BJJ and MMA for a fraction of the price of other similar clubs. What we focus on is not the money, but the final product our gym puts out which is you. This focus on people brings honor and value to our gym. We are constantly improving and innovating.

We were the first BJJ club in Calgary, the first to hold a BJJ Seminar with a high ranking BJJ instructor, the first to hold a BJJ tournament, the first to hold an all women’s BJJ course, the first to start teaching Kids BJJ classes and the first to train and compete in MMA events. Our philosophy is continuous improvement, never settling for the status quo, we push the envelope on everything we do, whether it be technical mastery of the art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu or the gym itself.
